UM, Access to Fun #9: The Depot

Welcome to Episode 9 of the “UM, Access to Fun” show with University of Minnesota student host Josh Lee. In this week’s episode, Josh takes to the ice at the historic Depot, just off the Green Line in downtown Minneapolis. This former hub of travel in the region saw its last train in 1971, but there is still plenty happening. The old Milwaukee Road Depot is home to an ice rink as well as two hotels, a water park, a bar, dining, and meeting facilities.

“UM, Access to Fun” is all about finding fun by transit. The series was created and produced by CTS video student John Kerber as part of a summer project.

Alas, even the adventurous Josh must soak his sore, tired dogs before resuming the search for more fun. But he will be back on the transit trail soon. So don’t forget to tell him where to go!
